KEW COTTAGES
Major Projects Victoria & State Government
$400 million major redevelopment of the former Kew Cottages site into a new integrated residential neighbourhood. The redevelopment includes 380 dwellings and a range of comunity facilities.
BEACON COVE
State Government & Mirvac
Transformation of the 32 hectare industral site into a new waterfront community with a total of 1,517 residential units and new planning controls designed specifically to facilitate the development of the site.
ACTIVITIES AREAS
State Government
Development and implementation of the Activities Areas Policy, including identifying new areas for major urban change and assessment of proposals within existing Activity Area sites.
CENTRAL ACTIVITIES AREAS
State Government
Development of metropolitan Central Activities Areas, including the delivery of multimillion dollar government investment in infrastrucutre and housing.
WAVERLEY PARK
Creation of a new community on an isolated site, finding viable use for the retained stadium structures. The project also tackled the issue of increased densities above the suburban norm and tests new housing models in a traditionally conservative suburban market.
